Regular grid
The town's streets form an even chessboard of blocks, which is typical of Cuban towns and gives the map a crisp, structured centre.

Abreus Map Poster & Print
Abreus lies in Cienfuegos Province in central southern Cuba, on the broad lowland that spreads between the Escambray foothills and the coast. From above, the town appears as a tidy grid of blocks, typical of Cuban provincial settlements. The streets meet at right angles, and a few main roads leave the edges toward neighbouring towns and the provincial capital.
The land around the town is flat and mostly agricultural, divided into large fields that give the map a calm, open quality. Waterways cross the plain in slow, meandering curves, which contrast with the straight lines of the town and its roads. An Abreus map poster shows this balance between a compact, planned town and the relaxed geometry of the countryside.
Abreus is not a place of famous monuments, and its appeal lies in how clear its layout is. For people who were born here or have family in the area, the grid of familiar streets carries its own meaning. In black and white, the town becomes a simple, well-proportioned figure framed by open land.
