Fu River
The river passes through the city and forms the strongest line on the map. The older streets gather along its banks, and bridges tie the two sides together.

Anlu Map Poster & Print
Anlu is a county-level city in Xiaogan, in eastern Hubei, where the hills of the north give way to the Jianghan plain. The Fu River flows through the area, and the city has grown along its banks. On the map, the older centre sits close to the water, while newer districts spread outward in broader, more regular blocks.
Anlu is widely known as a home of the ginkgo. Old ginkgo trees grow throughout the surrounding countryside, and the city is associated with them in regional identity. It is also connected with the Tang poet Li Bai, who lived in Anlu for about ten years after his marriage, a period often referred to in local history.
An Anlu map poster shows a city shaped by its river. The Fu River draws a long line through the sheet, bridges cross it at intervals, and the streets on both banks form a denser core that loosens toward farmland and low hills. It is an understated print for anyone connected to this part of Hubei.

Old centre
Near the river, the historic core has a closer, more irregular pattern of streets. It contrasts with the wider avenues of later districts.
Rural edges
Beyond the city, farmland and low hills take over, including the countryside known for its ginkgo trees. The map opens into white space along these edges.
