Kazanka river bend
The Kazanka winds past the town, and its curving course, with low ground on either side, is the most organic line on an otherwise orderly map.

Arsk Map Poster & Print
Arsk is a district centre in Tatarstan, lying northeast of Kazan on the upper reaches of the Kazanka river. From above it looks like many towns of the middle Volga region: a modest centre of administrative and commercial streets, rows of single-storey houses on straight lanes, and fields that come right up to the edge of town on most sides.
The river gives the map its one flowing line, winding past the town with a band of lower ground alongside it. The name is old; Arsk appears in the history of the Kazan Khanate, and the land around it has long been Tatar farming country. The district is also associated with the poet Gabdulla Tukay, who spent part of his childhood nearby.
An Arsk map poster keeps this picture simple and legible: the regular street blocks, the roads leaving toward Kazan and neighbouring villages, and the curve of the Kazanka. It suits anyone who values a place for its familiarity rather than its fame. In a restrained style such as Paper or Sand, the rural setting comes through clearly.

Straight village lanes
Residential streets of private houses run in long parallel rows, a pattern common to Tatarstan towns that gives the poster a calm, even texture.
Roads to Kazan
Main routes leave the centre toward Kazan and the surrounding villages, connecting the town to the wider region like the spokes of a wheel.

ለምን Arsk
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Arsk is the kind of place people carry with them after moving to Kazan or further afield: a grandparent's house, summers by the river, school years. A map of its streets marks that belonging without needing any explanation for visitors.
Add your own title and subtitle, or a date, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white and Noir to Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download HD files for $9, or order a printed poster on matte paper, framed if you like.
