Roadside settlement
Houses gather along the main roads instead of forming a large grid. On the poster these clusters appear as small, deliberate marks along linear routes.

Asia Map Poster & Print
Asia is a small place on the island of Negros, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines, toward the island's southwestern side. It is not a large town, so the map is mostly about its setting. Scattered clusters of houses sit along roads, with farmland and slopes around them, and the Sulu Sea coast is never far away.
Seen from above, the landscape does most of the work. Roads follow the lowland and then climb into the hills. Small streams run down toward the sea. Farm plots and tree cover create varied texture. The built-up parts appear as modest groupings along the main routes rather than as a dense grid, which gives the print an open, airy quality.
An Asia map poster is a personal object more than a landmark print. It suits people with family ties here, anyone who has worked or lived in this corner of Negros, and those who simply like the idea of a place called Asia hanging on the wall. The title and subtitle can make it clear exactly where it is.

Hills inland
Toward the interior, the ground rises and roads begin to curve. That shift in texture gives the composition a clear direction from coast to highland.
Descending streams
Thin watercourses run from the hills toward the sea. Their fine, irregular lines break up the open space around the settlement.
