Bangi Map Poster & Print
Bangi lies in Selangor, south of Kuala Lumpur and near Kajang, in the rolling land between the capital and Putrajaya. From above, it is clearly planned. Bandar Baru Bangi is divided into numbered sections, each with its own pattern of curving roads and cul-de-sacs, separated by main roads, green buffers and drainage channels. Highways cross the area, linking it to the wider Klang Valley.
The town is home to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, the National University of Malaysia, whose main campus occupies a large wooded area of hills, faculty buildings and lakes. Research institutes and the student population have shaped much of Bangi's character. The Langat River flows through the wider area.
A Bangi map poster shows a modern Malaysian town plan in detail. The neighbourhoods look like a series of tidy cells, each with its own internal logic, while the campus is a looser, greener space with winding roads. Expressways give the composition its main lines, and the hilly land in between keeps the pattern from looking rigid.
