Baranoa Map Poster & Print
Baranoa lies in the department of Atlántico in northern Colombia, a short drive southwest of Barranquilla. On a map the town is compact, built around a mostly regular grid of blocks centred on a main square and church. Around it the land is gently rolling and agricultural, crossed by a few main roads towards the coast and neighbouring towns.
The municipality belongs to the wider Barranquilla metropolitan area, though it keeps the scale of a small town. Like much of Atlántico, it has strong ties to the region's carnival culture and Caribbean traditions, and many people commute to or trade with the larger city nearby.
A Baranoa map poster is simple and well proportioned. The grid is tight at the centre and looser towards the outskirts. Roads leave the town like spokes. Scattered rural lanes cross the surrounding countryside. It is a quiet, orderly design that suits people who know every corner of it.
