Old town lanes
Narrow, winding streets make up the historic core. They form the densest and most intricate part of the poster, which is typical of Deccan towns.

Basavana Bāgevādi Map Poster & Print
Basavana Bāgevādi is a town in Vijayapura district in northern Karnataka, set on the flat, open landscape of the Deccan plateau. The map shows a dense core of narrow, irregular lanes surrounded by newer streets and roads that head out across the farmland in several directions.
The town is known as the birthplace of Basavanna, the twelfth-century philosopher and social reformer who is revered in the Lingayat tradition. It remains a place of pilgrimage because of that connection. On the map, the older centre shows the organic street pattern that develops over centuries.
A Basavana Bāgevādi map poster suits people from the region and those who feel connected to the town's history and its place in Karnataka's cultural life. The tight lanes and radiating roads give the design a clear centre and edge, and the open plain around it leaves plenty of calm space.

Radiating roads
Several roads leave the town toward neighbouring settlements and district towns. They draw long, straight lines out across the flat countryside.
Open plateau
The farmland of the Deccan surrounds the town on all sides, and its open space gives the compact centre a clear, uncluttered frame.
