Bauta Map Poster & Print
Bauta lies in Artemisa Province, a short distance southwest of Havana, in the flat, fertile country that supplies much of the capital's produce. Its map shows the classic Cuban town plan: a regular grid of blocks around a central area, with roads leading out toward neighbouring towns and the city.
The town is closely associated with the Ariguanabo textile mill, once one of the largest industrial sites in the country, and the name Ariguanabo also belongs to the lagoon and river basin in the surrounding area. That industrial history left a mark on the layout, with a planned workers' district adding its own pattern to the older blocks.
Farmland surrounds the town in a patchwork of fields and rural roads. A Bauta map poster captures a place that sits between the capital and the countryside, and the simplicity of its grid makes it a clean, balanced subject for a minimalist print.

Roads toward Havana
Main roads run northeast toward the capital, giving the composition a sense of direction and connection beyond the town edge.

ለምን Bauta
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Many Cubans abroad have roots in the small towns around Havana, and Bauta is one of them. A map of the streets can mark a birthplace or a family house, with a name and a year in the title line.
Sand and Paper suit the warm light of western Cuba, while Classic black and white keeps the grid sharp. Noir and Blueprint are also available if you prefer a darker or more technical look.
