Befandriana Map Poster & Print
Befandriana, often called Befandriana-Avaratra, is a town in the Sofia region of northern Madagascar. It sits inland, in a landscape of low hills, grassland and river valleys where rice is grown on the flatter ground. On a map the town is small and compact, with its streets gathered around a centre and a network of routes reaching out toward the surrounding rural communes.
The layout is simple and practical: a main road through town, secondary streets branching from it, and residential areas thinning out toward the edges. Rice paddies and streams fill the low-lying land nearby, creating a patchwork of small plots. The town serves as a district centre, so roads and tracks converge here from villages across a wide area.
A Befandriana map poster is quiet and spare, with a small cluster of streets surrounded by open countryside. That restraint is its appeal. It gives a place that seldom appears in atlases a clear and dignified image, suitable for someone with family in the Sofia region or memories of time spent there.

Paddy lowlands
Low ground around the town is given over to rice cultivation, and field boundaries and channels create a fine, irregular texture on the map.
Radiating tracks
As a district centre, the town is the meeting point for rural roads and paths, which fan out across the hills toward outlying villages.
