Blagodarnyy Map Poster & Print
Blagodarnyy is a district town in Stavropol Krai in southern Russia, set in the open steppe that stretches east of Stavropol. The land is flat to gently rolling and heavily farmed. On the map the town appears as a well-ordered grid of long blocks, with straight streets running between low houses and gardens.
The surrounding countryside repeats that geometry on a larger scale. Big rectangular fields, shelter belts of trees and straight farm roads fill the space around the town, so that from above it is hard to see exactly where the settlement ends. Small watercourses and ponds add a few softer lines to an otherwise very linear layout.
A Blagodarnyy map poster suits the calm character of steppe towns. There is no single landmark to dominate the frame. Instead there is a pattern of long parallel streets that looks almost abstract in black and white, and is immediately recognisable to anyone who grew up walking them.

Field geometry
Large rectangular fields and shelter belts surround the town and extend its pattern outward across the steppe.
Small waterways
Streams and ponds break the straight lines in a few places, adding gentle curves and pale shapes to the composition.
