Scattered villages
Small clusters of houses dot the countryside around the town, each a compact shape on the print. They give the map a rhythm quite different from a dense city.

Caoqiao Map Poster & Print
Caoqiao is a town in northern Jiangsu, in the lowland country east of Xuzhou. The land here is almost entirely flat and intensively farmed, and the map reflects it. Instead of one continuous built-up area, it shows dozens of small village clusters sitting like dots and dashes across a wide pattern of fields.
The town centre is where these threads come together, in a slightly denser area of streets and buildings along the main roads. From there, country lanes run out in straight lines toward the surrounding villages, often alongside irrigation channels. Farming has shaped this landscape, along with the long, steady work of dividing land into usable plots.
Little has been written about Caoqiao in English, and the poster does not pretend otherwise. What a Caoqiao map poster offers instead is an honest drawing of the place: its roads, its water and its scattered settlements. They sit in a quiet geometry that anyone from the area will recognise at once.

Straight country roads
Long roads cut across the plain with few bends. They link the villages to the town centre and form the main framework of the composition.
Irrigation lines
Channels follow roads and field boundaries across the flat land. They appear as fine parallel lines that reveal how carefully the farmland is organised.

ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
For families whose roots are in Caoqiao, the map records a home landscape that changes slowly, season by season. It makes a considerate gift for grandparents, or a reminder of the village for someone now living in a large city.
You can write your own title and subtitle, perhaps a village name alongside the town, and keep or change the coordinates. Pick from five styles, including Paper and Sand for a warmer tone, and download HD files for $9 or order a printed version.
