Carira Map Poster & Print
Carira is a municipality in the western interior of Sergipe, the smallest state in Brazil, in the drier country away from the coast. The town itself is compact. On a map its streets form a modest grid around a central area, and the built-up land ends quickly where fields and pasture begin.
Farming and cattle shape the countryside around Carira, with dirt roads and field boundaries crossing the gently rolling land. Seasonal streams and small reservoirs appear as thin lines and scattered shapes. Main roads link the town to neighbouring municipalities and, further off, to Aracaju, the state capital on the coast.
A Carira map poster is a portrait of an everyday interior town of Brazil's Northeast. It is not a famous skyline or a tourist centre, but a place with a shape of its own. Seeing its streets drawn cleanly can be surprisingly moving for people who grew up there or still call it home.

Rural roads
Routes leave Carira toward neighbouring towns, and unpaved tracks lead into the farmland, forming a loose network across the countryside.
Dry-land water
Small reservoirs and seasonal streams appear as scattered shapes and fine lines, a sign of how precious water is in the Sergipe interior.
