Irrigation network
Canals and smaller channels cross the land in long straight or gently curving lines. They divide the fields and determine where roads and homes are placed.

Dardoq Map Poster & Print
Dardoq is a town in Uzbekistan's Andijan Region, at the eastern end of the Fergana Valley and not far from the border with Kyrgyzstan. The valley is one of the most densely settled and intensively farmed parts of Central Asia, and the map reflects that. The town's streets merge into irrigated fields, orchards and village lanes, with barely a pause between one settlement and the next.
Water organises everything here. Canals and ditches, fed by rivers coming down from the surrounding mountains, cross the plain and divide it into long plots. Roads often follow them, and houses with gardens line both. Seen from above, the result is a finely ruled landscape where town and countryside blur into each other.
A Dardoq map poster records a place that few printed maps show in any detail. For people from the town, or from the Andijan area more broadly, it gives an exact picture of home streets set among the canals and fields of the valley, drawn in clean, calm lines.

Orchards and fields
Farmed plots surround the town on every side. Their narrow rectangles give the map a dense, textile-like pattern typical of the Fergana Valley.
Village lanes
Residential lanes branch off the main roads, lined with houses and gardens. They continue almost without interruption into neighbouring settlements.
