Donna Map Poster & Print
Donna is a small city in Hidalgo County, in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. From above, the land is almost perfectly flat, and the town follows a clear grid of straight streets. Main roads run east to west, parallel to the highway corridor that links the string of Valley towns, while section roads divide the surrounding farmland into regular blocks.
Irrigation canals are a defining feature of the area, carrying water from the Rio Grande across what was once citrus and vegetable country. To the south, the river marks the border with Mexico, and the Donna–Rio Bravo International Bridge connects the two sides.
A Donna map poster makes the most of this geometry. The town grid, the farm roads and the thin lines of the canals form an orderly, almost architectural composition. It is a fitting piece for anyone with roots in the Valley, where the flat land and long, straight roads are part of everyday life.

Toward the border
Roads lead south across farmland towards the Rio Grande and the international bridge, linking Donna to its neighbours across the river.
