Dourbali is a town in the Chari-Baguirmi region of Chad, on the plain southeast of the capital, N'Djamena. It is a local centre for the surrounding villages. From above the town looks spacious. Wide, sandy streets divide the land into large blocks, and walled compounds fill the spaces between them.
The landscape around Dourbali is flat and open, with seasonal watercourses, fields and grazing land. In the rainy season low areas can fill with water, while in the dry months the plain is mostly dry.
