Dragash sits at the southern tip of Kosovo, in upland country where the Šar Mountains rise toward the borders with Albania and North Macedonia. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets on a plateau. Around it, roads loop and double back as they climb, linking villages spread across open pastures and deep valleys.
The municipality covers two historic highland areas, Opoja and Gora, each with its own villages and traditions. On a map this shows up as a pattern of small settlements, each a knot of lanes, joined by long threads of road through empty ground. Ridges and stream valleys account for most of the drawing, and the buildings take up very little of it.
A Dragash map poster draws on that contrast. The small town grid sits in the middle, and the thin mountain roads fan out toward the edges of the frame. Rendered in black and white, the switchbacks and scattered hamlets make a quiet, open composition, closer to a topographic sketch than a crowded city plan.
