Elbeuf Map Poster & Print
Elbeuf lies on the left bank of the Seine, south of Rouen, where the river bends in one of the broad meanders typical of its lower course. On the map the town is pressed between the water and the rising ground to the south, with streets running parallel to the river and bridges linking it to the opposite bank.
For centuries Elbeuf was one of the leading centres of the French wool cloth industry, and its brick factories, workers' housing and merchants' houses still give the town a strong industrial character. Several former mill buildings have found new uses, and the cloth trade is the subject of a local museum. Wooded slopes and chalk escarpments frame the valley.
An Elbeuf map poster captures the drama of that setting: the sweeping curve of the Seine, the dense town along its bank, and the forests on the heights. Few river towns in Normandy offer such a clear, elegant shape, and it works equally well in a crisp Classic style or a softer Paper finish.

Bridges across the river
Bridges connect Elbeuf with the towns on the opposite bank, short straight lines that stitch the two sides of the valley together.
Wooded heights
Forested slopes and chalk escarpments rise above the valley, confining the town to a strip along the water and giving the map a clear edge.

ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Elbeuf has a strong identity shaped by the river and by its industrial past, and people who know it tend to feel attached to both. A map of its streets set within the curve of the Seine makes a thoughtful piece for any room.
