Eldersburg is an unincorporated community in Carroll County, Maryland, west of Baltimore. It grew mainly as a residential suburb, and its layout reflects that: shopping centres along the main roads, with neighbourhoods of winding streets and cul-de-sacs branching off them. Liberty Reservoir, which supplies water to the Baltimore area, lies just to the east.
