Ennis Map Poster & Print
Ennis is a city in Ellis County, south of Dallas, on the rolling blackland prairie of North Texas. From above, it has the classic plan of a railroad town. A straight grid of streets sits beside the tracks, with a small historic downtown at the centre. Newer neighbourhoods and commercial areas spread outward, and Interstate 45 passes along the edge of town.
Ennis has strong Czech roots, which show in its churches, bakeries and the National Polka Festival held each year. The town is also known for its spring bluebonnet trails, a network of country roads where the wildflowers bloom across the surrounding fields. On the map, the farmland appears as broad open space crossed by long, straight rural roads.
An Ennis map poster pairs the tidy downtown grid and the railway line with the wider, looser pattern of the county roads beyond. The interstate adds a bold diagonal, and the fields give the composition room. It is a clear, balanced portrait of a Texas prairie town.
