Eppingen Map Poster & Print
Eppingen lies in the Kraichgau, the gently rolling hill country between Heilbronn and Karlsruhe in northern Baden-Württemberg. Its old town is compact and irregular, with narrow lanes and well-preserved half-timbered houses clustered around the market area. On the map, the historic core stands out as a dense, rounded shape inside the looser pattern of later neighbourhoods.
The town gives its name to the Eppingen Lines, a system of earthworks and fortifications built in the late seventeenth century to protect the region from invasion. Today the surroundings are peaceful: fields, orchards and vineyards on soft slopes, cut by small streams and wooded valleys. A light rail line links Eppingen to both Heilbronn and Karlsruhe.
An Eppingen map poster brings together the medieval core, the ring of newer districts and the soft Kraichgau landscape around them. In black and white, the lanes of the old town form a detailed centrepiece within a calm frame of hills and fields. It is a fitting print for anyone who calls the Kraichgau home.
