Flagami Map Poster & Print
Flagami is a residential district in western Miami, and its name joins two of the roads that define it: Flagler Street and the Tamiami Trail. From above it is almost pure grid, with numbered avenues and streets crossing at right angles over flat South Florida ground and small lots packed side by side.
The regularity is broken in a few places by water. Drainage canals, a standard feature of the region, cut straight lines through the blocks, and small lakes and green spaces add pale shapes among the houses. Commercial frontage runs along the main corridors, while quieter residential streets fill the space between them.
A Flagami map poster turns this suburban pattern into something close to graph paper. The dense repetition of blocks, the long east-west arteries toward downtown and the few interruptions of water make a clean composition. It works especially well for anyone who knows the neighbourhood's streets by their numbers.

Numbered grid
Miami's numbered street system gives Flagami an almost perfectly regular pattern, and printed without labels the blocks read like a finely ruled sheet.
Canals and lakes
Straight drainage canals and small bodies of water interrupt the grid in places, adding open shapes that break up the density of the residential blocks.

ለምን Flagami
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Flagami is a place people make a life in, often after a long journey to get there. A map of its familiar grid can mark a first home, a family's arrival in Miami, or a childhood spent on these blocks.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a street name or a year. Choose from five styles. Blueprint suits the grid especially well. Order a $9 digital file in six sizes, or a printed poster on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
