Fürstenwalde Map Poster & Print
Fürstenwalde lies in eastern Brandenburg, on the River Spree, roughly midway between Berlin and Frankfurt an der Oder. The river curves through the town, and on a map it forms the main natural feature, with the old centre on its bank and newer districts spreading north and south.
The town was for a time the seat of the Bishops of Lebus, and St. Mary's Cathedral, the Dom St. Marien, remains its best-known building, restored after heavy damage in the Second World War. Around it, the historic centre keeps a compact medieval layout of short streets and a market square.
A Fürstenwalde map poster also shows the railway line linking Berlin and the Oder, which crosses the town in a long straight stroke, and the forested land around it. The combination of river, old town and rail gives the map a clear, well-balanced structure.

Cathedral quarter
The old centre around St. Mary's Cathedral follows a compact medieval pattern of short streets and a market square, the densest part of the map.
Berlin–Oder railway
The railway line crosses the town in a long, straight line, a strong graphic element that contrasts with the river's curves.
