Garrafão do Norte Map Poster & Print
Garrafão do Norte is a municipality in northeastern Pará, in the Amazon region but in an area long shaped by farming and settlement. The name comes from garrafão, the large bottle or demijohn used for storing liquids. The map shows a compact urban centre in a mostly rural landscape.
The town streets form a simple grid. Beyond the grid, long straight roads and side roads extend into the countryside, a common pattern in areas settled along access routes. Cleared land, pasture and patches of remaining forest create a varied mosaic around the town. Streams and small rivers wind through the area in thin, curving lines.
A Garrafão do Norte map poster tells the story of a place defined more by its surroundings than by its size. The small grid occupies only a part of the sheet. The rest is taken up by roads, watercourses and open land that together show the character of this part of Pará.

Long rural roads
Straight roads run out from the town into farmland and remaining forest. They create a strong linear pattern that extends to the edges of the poster.
Winding streams
Small rivers and streams curve through the countryside. They add organic lines that soften the geometric roads and the grid of the town.
