Valley-floor town
The streets spread along the flatter ground of the valley, giving the town a long, directional shape instead of the round footprint of a plains city.

Huaicheng Map Poster & Print
Huaicheng is the county seat of Huaiji, in Zhaoqing prefecture in the north-west of Guangdong province. Unlike the flat, heavily built Pearl River Delta further south, this is hill country, and the town has grown along the lower ground where the valleys widen enough to allow it.
That setting is clear from above. The built-up area stretches out along its river and main roads, with newer districts laid out in wider, more regular blocks and the older core packed more tightly. The hills close in on the edges of the frame, so the town looks less like a spreading plain and more like something that has filled the only available space.
A Huaicheng map poster suits people from Huaiji County and anyone who knows this less-visited part of Guangdong. In monochrome, the contrast is stark between the dense valley floor and the open, empty hillsides around it. The river and the roads running beside it hold the whole composition together.

Old and new blocks
A tighter older centre sits beside newer districts with broader, more regular blocks, and the change in grain is easy to see on paper.
Hills at the edges
Wooded ridges surround the valley and appear as quiet, empty space around the edges of the frame, keeping attention on the town.
