Isidro Casanova Map Poster & Print
Isidro Casanova is one of the localities of La Matanza, the largest partido of Greater Buenos Aires, west of the capital. Its map is a nearly unbroken grid. Square and rectangular blocks repeat across flat pampa ground, with slight shifts in angle where different subdivisions meet. There are no hills or large rivers, and the geometry of the streets does all the work.
Ruta Nacional 3 runs diagonally through the area, a major artery that carries traffic southwest from the city and draws commerce along its edges. Like much of La Matanza, Isidro Casanova grew rapidly through the twentieth century as families moved to the metropolitan region, and today it is densely populated and largely residential.
An Isidro Casanova map poster shows the order of the Argentine suburban grid at its clearest. Thousands of small blocks fill the frame evenly, broken by the long diagonal of Ruta 3 and a few larger plots for schools, rail and plazas. Printed at poster size, the pattern works almost like woven cloth.

Plazas and open lots
Squares, sports fields and school grounds appear as small open rectangles, breaking up the dense fabric at regular intervals.

ለምን Isidro Casanova
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
For people from La Matanza, this map is the barrio itself: the corners, the plazas, the route to school. It is a simple and personal gift for family members who have moved away or who still live a few blocks from where they grew up.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a street, a family name or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the grid especially graphic.
