Itambé Map Poster & Print
Itambé is a municipality in the interior of Bahia, in the southwest of the state, far from the Atlantic coast. The urban area is compact, a cluster of streets around a central core, and it sits in rolling farm and pasture land that fills most of the municipality's territory.
The street pattern is typical of a small Brazilian interior town: a roughly regular grid near the centre, loosening at the edges where newer neighbourhoods follow the slopes and the roads leading out. Regional highways connect it with the larger towns of the southwest Bahia plateau.
An Itambé map poster shows the town as a dense knot of streets in open country, with roads fanning out toward the rest of the region. It is a quiet, uncluttered image that suits a place whose life is centred on its main square, its church and the farms around it.

Outward-growing edges
Newer neighbourhoods spread along the approach roads and hillsides, loosening the grid into irregular blocks as the town reaches its rural edges.
Regional roads
Highways lead out across the southwest Bahia interior, linking Itambé to neighbouring towns and giving the composition its longer lines.
