Northern trunk road
The main road north toward the Thai border runs through the town. Much of Jitra's commercial centre grew along it, and it remains the town's main axis.

Jitra Map Poster & Print
Jitra lies in the north of Kedah, north of Alor Setar, in the flat lowland known for rice farming. The town is built along the main road north toward the Thai border, and the North–South Expressway passes close by. On the map, its streets are grouped around these routes, and the surrounding land is divided into paddy fields crossed by irrigation channels.
Jitra is also known historically as the site of the Battle of Jitra in December 1941, an early engagement of the Malayan campaign in the Second World War. Today it is the administrative centre of the Kubang Pasu district. It is a working town that serves the farms and villages around it.
A Jitra map poster shows a compact town set in open, flat farmland. Main roads run through the centre, residential streets are packed around them, and the fields form a fine pattern of lines further out. It is a simple, clear map, well suited to a minimalist print.

Around the town, the Kedah plain is divided into rice fields and irrigation channels. They show as a fine, regular grid of lines across flat land.
Expressway corridor
The North–South Expressway passes near the town and forms a long, straight line on the map. It sets modern infrastructure against the older town streets.

ለምን Jitra
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
For families from Kubang Pasu, or anyone who grew up among Kedah's rice fields, a map of Jitra captures the town's position between the old road and the open plain. It is a modest, personal piece for a wall at home.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates to make it your own. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand and Paper suit the farmland, and Noir gives the roads a sharper outline.
