Mining districts
The city is made up of several neighbourhoods grouped around former mine sites, so the poster shows clusters of streets rather than one compact centre.

Kadiyivka Map Poster & Print
Kadiyivka is a city in Luhansk Oblast, in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine. On the map, it spreads across gently rolling steppe as a series of districts linked by long roads and rail lines. Former and working mine sites are scattered among the neighbourhoods, and conical spoil heaps, or terrikons, appear as distinct shapes on the edges of built-up areas.
The city has changed names several times. From 1978 to 2016 it was known as Stakhanov, after the miner Alexei Stakhanov, whose record coal output in 1935 made him a symbol of Soviet labour. The coal industry shaped every aspect of its layout, from the workers' housing to the rail spurs connecting mines with factories.
A Kadiyivka map poster shows the imprint of that industrial history: separate districts, rail lines threading between them and the open steppe beyond. It is a serious, structured composition. For people with roots in the city, many of whom now live elsewhere, it offers a clear and dignified picture of a place that remains part of their lives.

Rail spurs
Railway lines run between districts and industrial sites, drawing long, straight and branching lines that connect the whole composition.
Spoil heaps
Conical heaps of mining waste appear around the city, a characteristic feature of the Donbas landscape and a visible trace of the coal industry.
