Streets and plots are spread out loosely rather than packed together, which gives the map a light, airy texture with plenty of space between lines.

Kasongo-Lunda Map Poster & Print
Kasongo-Lunda is a town in Kwango province, in south-western Democratic Republic of the Congo, not far from the border with Angola. It is the centre of a large, sparsely populated territory of the same name. The landscape around it is a mix of open plateau savanna and valleys lined with forest along the rivers that drain toward the Kwango.
From above, the town is a loose network of streets and plots rather than a dense centre. The roads that link it to the rest of the region are the strongest lines on the map. Beyond the town, the land opens into wide plateau crossed by thin lines of rivers.
A Kasongo-Lunda map poster shows a place defined by space: a modest town, long roads and valleys running into the distance. It is best suited to people with family roots here or personal ties to the region.

Regional roads
The roads connecting Kasongo-Lunda to other towns in Kwango are the strongest lines on the poster, heading across the plateau in long strokes.
River valleys
Rivers cut valleys through the plateau around the town. On a minimalist map they appear as fine, branching lines at the edges of the composition.
