Kazo is a town in western Uganda and the administrative centre of Kazo District, created in recent years. It lies in the Ankole region, known for its cattle-keeping tradition and for grassy, rolling hills. From above, the town appears as a modest cluster of streets around its main road, surrounded by open land.
Most of the town's structure follows the principal road, with shops, offices and markets lining the route. Side streets branch off it in a loose pattern. Beyond them, the landscape becomes a mix of pasture, small farms and scattered homesteads, with tracks winding across the slopes.
