Runway geometry
The airport's crossing runways dominate the frame as long, sharp strokes. They are easily the strongest lines on the map and instantly recognisable to anyone who has flown through Zurich.

Kloten Map Poster & Print
Kloten sits north of Zurich in the Glatt valley, and Zurich Airport, the largest in Switzerland, takes up much of its land. That makes the map unusual. The long straight runways and branching taxiways are the most prominent shapes. The town itself fills a smaller, denser patch of streets and housing to one side.
The airport's layout reads almost like an architectural diagram, with crossing runways, aprons and the terminal complex set out in precise geometric lines. Around it, the rest of Kloten looks like a typical Swiss suburban town, with a small old core, housing estates and wooded hills. Rail, tram and motorway links tie it closely to Zurich.
A Kloten map poster is a natural choice for people with a connection to aviation, whether they work at the airport, fly often or simply like how runways look on paper. In monochrome, the contrast between the blank airfield grass and the fine network of taxiways gives the print a clean, technical character.

Terminal complex
Terminals, piers and aprons cluster between the runways in a dense, angular arrangement that looks almost like a circuit diagram in black and white.
Town and forest
Beyond the airfield, Kloten's residential streets and old centre sit against wooded hills, which soften the print with irregular natural shapes.

ለምን Kloten
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
For pilots, cabin crew, air traffic controllers and frequent travellers, Kloten is more than a stopover. Its map works as a quietly technical artwork for a study, an office or the home of someone who has spent a career around aircraft.
You can title it after a first solo flight, a hiring date or a favourite route, adjust the coordinates line, and pick one of five styles. Blueprint suits the runways particularly well. Get six print sizes for $9, or a matte print, framed if you like.
