Königsbrunn Map Poster & Print
Königsbrunn sits on the Lechfeld, a wide, flat gravel plain south of Augsburg between the Lech and Wertach rivers. It began as a settlement in the nineteenth century and only became a town in the second half of the twentieth. Its map shows that recent planning in long, straight streets and a clear, rational layout.
A main road runs north to south through the town as its spine. Residential streets branch off it in orderly patterns, and newer districts fill the space between older roads. On the eastern side, the Lech valley brings woods, gravel lakes and water channels, a softer frame for the town's straight edges.
Königsbrunn is also known for the Mercateum, a large walk-in globe on the town's edge, and for a thermal bath. A Königsbrunn map poster shows a town where modern planning meets the Lechfeld's open horizon, clear enough to read at a glance.
