Krasyliv is a town in Khmelnytskyi Oblast in western Ukraine, on the upland plateau of Podolia. The Sluch River passes through it, and on a map the water is the most prominent feature: a winding channel that widens where it has been dammed into a pond, with streets arranged around its banks.
The centre is a compact mix of older streets and later blocks, with main roads leading out toward Khmelnytskyi and neighbouring towns. Beyond the built-up area, the map opens into fields, which cover most of this fertile part of Ukraine, and into the small villages strung along rural roads.
