Hilltop old village
The historic core sits on a rocky rise, its lanes coiling around the high ground. On the poster it reads as a compact, dark knot within the wider town.

La Garde Map Poster & Print
La Garde belongs to the Toulon metropolitan area, just east of the city, where the coastal plain opens out between low hills and the Mediterranean. From above it is a mix of residential districts, commercial zones and road corridors, closely joined to its neighbours, so that on the map the town edge is defined more by roads than by open land.
At its heart stands a rocky outcrop with the old village clustered on and around it, a pattern the name itself hints at, since a garde was a place of watch. Narrow lanes wind tightly here before giving way to the broader streets of the modern town. Nearby, the main campus of the University of Toulon adds a large, orderly block to the plan.
A La Garde map poster brings these pieces together: the old knot of streets on its hill, the road and rail corridors running east from Toulon, and the residential layers in between. It is a practical, lived-in map, the kind that means most to people who studied, worked or raised a family in this corner of the Var.

University campus
The University of Toulon's campus occupies a broad, ordered area of buildings and paths, easy to pick out against the looser residential streets nearby.
Eastbound corridors
Major roads and the rail line run through La Garde toward Hyères and the east, drawing strong parallel strokes across the sheet.

ለምን La Garde
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
People choose La Garde for their walls when it marks a first flat near campus, a family home or a long stay in the Var. The old hill village gives the map a clear centre that is easy to recognise.
Change the title and subtitle to your own words, keep or edit the coordinates, and choose a style. Sand and Paper suit the warm light of Provence, while Noir makes the street pattern stand out on a pale wall.
