La Paragua Map Poster & Print
La Paragua lies on the banks of the Paragua River in the Bolívar state of south-eastern Venezuela, in a region of savannah, forest and rivers that drain toward the Caroní. It is one of the more remote towns in the state, reached by long roads through thinly settled country. On a map the town is a small grid set against the wide curve of the river.
The streets are laid out in a simple grid close to the water, with the river forming the town's main edge. Beyond the built area, the landscape opens into forest, savannah and scattered clearings, cut by tracks. The area is known for small-scale gold and diamond mining, and the river has long served as a route into the interior.
A La Paragua map poster captures a frontier town with great restraint: a compact block of streets, a single dominant river, and a vast surrounding space. It is a meaningful image for people from Bolívar and for anyone who has travelled into the Venezuelan interior and remembers the town at the edge of the forest.

Compact grid
The town's streets form a small, regular grid close to the water, easy to read and sharply defined against the surrounding countryside.
Forest edge
Around the grid, tracks and clearings fade quickly into forest and savannah, leaving the edges of the poster open and quiet.

ለምን La Paragua
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
La Paragua is the kind of place that stays with people who have lived or worked there, far from the coast and the cities. A poster keeps the town and its river in view wherever life has since led.
