Liberia Map Poster & Print
Liberia is the capital of Guanacaste Province in northwestern Costa Rica. It sits on the flat, dry plains between the volcanic mountain range and the Pacific coast. The map shows a tidy colonial grid around the central park, with the Pan-American Highway passing along the edge of town and a main road branching west toward the beaches.
Liberia is often called the White City, a name linked to its whitewashed adobe houses and the pale gravel once used on its streets. Today it is also a gateway for travellers. An international airport west of town serves the region, and Liberia is a common base for trips to Rincón de la Vieja National Park and the Guanacaste coast.
A Liberia map poster is a clear study of a planned town: straight blocks, a central square, and highways cutting clean lines across the plains. With open land on every side, the grid stands out sharply, whether it is printed in Classic black and white or in the warmer tones of Sand.
