Valley-following streets
The town's streets bend with the landscape, running along valleys and around slopes, so the built-up area forms flowing shapes rather than regular rectangles.

Longkong Map Poster & Print
Longkong is a town in the Chongqing municipality in south-western China, in the hilly country that spreads across much of the region east of the city of Chongqing itself. From above, this landscape is a mosaic of ridges, valleys, small reservoirs and terraced slopes, and settlements are shaped closely by the terrain.
In towns like Longkong, streets tend to run along valley floors or follow the contour of a slope, and the built area often stretches out along a main road rather than forming a compact block. Surrounding farmland is broken into many small fields fitted between the hills, which gives the map a finely detailed texture.
A Longkong map poster shows a place where geography sets the plan. Instead of straight avenues, the composition is built from curving roads, scattered buildings and the lines of hillside paths, a pattern typical of rural Chongqing and very different from the flat plains of eastern China.

Terraced farmland
Small fields are fitted between the hills around the town, creating a dense, intricate pattern at the edges of the poster that rewards a closer look.
Hill country setting
The map places Longkong within the ridges and folds of the Chongqing hills, a landscape that gives even a small town a strong sense of relief.

ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Many people from rural Chongqing have moved to larger cities for work, and a map of the home town is a direct and personal way to keep it close. The curving lines of streets and fields make it a striking piece even for those who have never visited.
Personalise the title with a name, family or date, add a subtitle and keep the coordinates line. Select one of five styles, including Blueprint and Sand, then choose a $9 digital download or a printed poster shipped from a local partner.
