Magamaga Map Poster & Print
Magamaga lies in Mayuge District in Uganda's Eastern Region, a short distance east of Jinja and the source of the Nile. Its layout is shaped mainly by the road. Buildings and plots line the main route and the roads that branch off it, with homesteads and small lanes spreading out into the surrounding countryside instead of forming a dense grid.
The landscape around the town is low and green, a band of farmland between the busy corridor to the east and the northern shores of Lake Victoria to the south. On a map this shows as a loose, open pattern of tracks and fields around a denser strip along the road. It is typical of the Busoga area, where towns grow along transport routes and farming reaches right to their edges.
A Magamaga map poster keeps this character honest and simple. The main road becomes the strong central line, side streets and tracks branch from it in fine strokes, and the open ground around gives the image plenty of space. It is a clean, understated portrait of a place that many people pass through and some call home.

Branching tracks
Smaller roads and paths reach out from the centre into farmland, creating a delicate, branching pattern that looks almost like the veins of a leaf.
Busoga countryside
Open agricultural land surrounds the settlement, with Jinja to the west and Lake Victoria to the south just beyond the frame.
