Magole is a settlement in Tanzania's Morogoro Region, a part of the country where fertile lowlands and river valleys lie below mountain ranges. From above, the pattern is loose rather than urban. Houses and plots are spread out along tracks and roads, with cultivated land running between and around them.
Places like Magole grow along routes and around farmland rather than according to a formal plan.
