The Seine loop
The river curves around the area in a broad bend and gives Montesson a natural boundary. It forms the strongest shape on the poster and guides the eye around the sheet.

Montesson Map Poster & Print
Montesson is in the Yvelines department west of Paris, in one of the large loops the Seine makes as it winds downstream. The river bends around the area, so water borders the town on more than one side. From above, the loop of the Seine is the first thing you notice, and Montesson sits inside it.
The town is known for the Plaine de Montesson, a large flat area traditionally used for market gardening that has supplied vegetables to Paris for generations. On a map this appears as an unusual stretch of open land. Its fields sit right next to the dense suburbs of the western Paris region. Residential streets, mostly houses with gardens, fill the rest of the town.
A Montesson map poster pairs the smooth curve of the Seine with a clear contrast between built-up streets and the open plain. The result is a balanced composition that shows how a Paris suburb has kept part of its agricultural past. The layout is simple and easy to read.

The market-garden plain
The Plaine de Montesson appears as a wide, open area of fields. Its emptiness stands out clearly against the dense streets of the surrounding suburbs.
Garden streets
Residential streets lined with houses and gardens fill the rest of the town. They form a steady, fine grid between the river and the open plain.
