Central town grid
The urban core follows the familiar Colombian pattern of regular blocks around a main square. It forms a small, orderly shape at the centre of the poster.

Morales Map Poster & Print
Morales is a municipality in the Cauca Department of southwestern Colombia, north of the departmental capital Popayán. It lies in mountainous country where the Andes break into ridges and valleys. The town itself is modest, a small grid of streets around a central square, and most of the municipality's residents live in rural settlements scattered across the hillsides.
On a map the land shapes everything. Roads rarely run straight. They switch back along slopes, follow ridgelines and drop into valleys to cross streams that feed the wider Cauca River basin. Around the urban centre the pattern turns from a compact grid into loose threads of rural roads and tracks that link farms and hamlets.
A Morales map poster makes that relationship visible. There is a neat core of blocks in the middle, and the mountain roads trail outward like handwriting. It is a quiet, understated image, well suited to someone with roots in Cauca, or to anyone who knows how much a small Andean town can mean to the people who come from it.

Contour-following roads
Outside town, roads bend with the terrain, doubling back on slopes and tracing ridges. They give the map a loose, hand-drawn quality.
Stream valleys
Small watercourses cut through the hills toward the Cauca basin. In print they appear as thin lines that explain why the roads curve the way they do.
