Naxi Map Poster & Print
Naxi is a district of Luzhou in southern Sichuan, lying on the Yangtze a short distance from the city centre. The town grew beside the river, and its plan still turns toward the water: the main streets run roughly parallel to the bank, while the hills along the southern edge of the Sichuan basin rise behind the built-up area.
Luzhou is known throughout China for baijiu, and distilling has long been part of the local economy. On the map, though, the defining element is the Yangtze itself: a broad, confident sweep of water, with the district compressed into the narrow strip of flatter land along the shore and newer development reaching up the slopes.
A Naxi map poster suits people from Luzhou and its districts, those who have moved to Chengdu, Chongqing or beyond, and anyone drawn to river towns. The composition is strong and simple: water across the frame, a dense band of streets beside it, and the softer lines of hill roads climbing away from the bank.

Riverbank band
The older streets form a dense strip along the shore where the flat land is narrowest, giving the map a long, concentrated core.
Hillside growth
Newer roads and districts climb the slopes behind the riverbank, their winding lines contrasting with the denser pattern close to the water.

Living beside the Yangtze leaves a lasting impression, and a map of Naxi keeps the river and the town in the same frame. It works in a new apartment far from Sichuan, or as a gift for parents who have never left the district.
