Hills and preserves
Open-space preserves and ridges, including Mount Burdell, separate the neighbourhoods. On the poster they appear as large quiet shapes surrounded by curving streets.

Novato Map Poster & Print
Novato is the northernmost city in Marin County, spread across several valleys that open eastward toward the Petaluma River marshes and San Pablo Bay. Hills and open-space preserves rise between the neighbourhoods. On the map they appear as large empty areas that break the city into separate districts, each following its own valley.
Mount Burdell rises on the northern side of the city. To the east is the former Hamilton Air Force Base, where the runway area has been partly turned back into tidal wetland and the old base housing has become a neighbourhood. US Route 101 runs north-south through Novato and links it with Petaluma and San Francisco.
A Novato map poster shows a city shaped by its land. Streets fill the valley floors and curve around the lower slopes, the hills remain open, and on the eastern side the marshland meets the bay. It is a place where the empty areas of the map matter as much as the streets.

Hamilton and the marsh
To the east, the old air base area meets restored wetlands along the bay. Here the map changes from streets to open water and marsh channels.
Highway 101
The freeway runs through the city from north to south. It forms a long, strong line connecting Novato's valleys with the rest of Marin and Sonoma.

ለምን Novato
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
People choose Novato for its hills and trails as much as its houses, and a map that keeps those open spaces visible feels right here. It works well in a room that looks out on the same hills.
You can add a title, subtitle and coordinates, for example the name of your trailhead or street, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
