The mill pond
A long reservoir created by the old ironworks dam stretches across the map, its irregular shoreline giving the composition a strong, organic centre of gravity.

Ochër Map Poster & Print
Seen from above, Ochër is organised around water. A dam holds back a long, narrow pond, and the older streets run close to its shore before loosening into a looser pattern of houses, gardens and plots. Forest and farmland in the Perm Krai countryside press in from every side, so the town reads as a compact cluster set into a much larger green field.
The town grew around an eighteenth-century ironworks, and the pond was part of that industrial design, giving the mill its power. That origin still shows on the map: the dam line, the waterside core, and roads fanning out toward neighbouring villages. The area is also known to palaeontologists for Permian-era fossil finds made in the surrounding district.
An Ochër map poster keeps these elements in plain black and white. The pond becomes a single pale shape, the dam a short firm stroke, and the residential blocks a quiet texture of small rectangles. Without colour or labels crowding the sheet, the relationship between water, works and town is easy to read at a glance.

Dam and works
The short line of the dam marks where the town began. Streets gather tightly around it, tracing the footprint of the industrial settlement that came first.
Forest edge
Beyond the last houses the street pattern thins quickly into tracks and field boundaries, leaving the town framed by open country typical of the western Urals.
