Pa Sang Map Poster & Print
Pa Sang is a district town in Lamphun province in northern Thailand, in the broad valley south of Chiang Mai. On the map the town is a compact grouping of streets along its main road, surrounded by farmland and orchards. Toward the edges of the wider frame the ground rises into forested hills, and streams and irrigation channels run through the lower land.
Lamphun province is well known for its longan orchards, and the area around Pa Sang is also associated with hand-woven cotton, a craft sold in the town's shops and markets. Just outside town is Wat Phra Phutthabat Tak Pha, a well-known temple and a place of pilgrimage for many in the north.
A Pa Sang map poster keeps the town at its true modest scale, with the main road as a spine and short side streets branching off it. The orchards and fields around it give a soft, open background, and the composition is quiet, balanced and closely tied to its valley.

Orchard country
Longan orchards and fields cover much of the surrounding land. They appear on the map as open space broken by narrow access lanes.
Water channels
Streams and irrigation channels cross the valley floor. Their thin, meandering lines add fine detail to the otherwise open ground around the town.
