Terrain-led streets
Roads follow valleys and slopes instead of a grid, so the town's outline is uneven and neighbourhoods appear as separate clusters linked by winding lines.

Pedro Leopoldo Map Poster & Print
Pedro Leopoldo lies in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte, in rolling Minas Gerais country. From above, the town does not follow a strict grid. Streets bend with the terrain, neighbourhoods spread along valleys and low ridges, and a rail line and main roads thread between them. Pasture, quarries and patches of woodland fill the gaps between districts.
The area belongs to the Lagoa Santa karst, a limestone landscape of caves and sinkholes known for its archaeological and palaeontological finds. The town itself is widely associated with Chico Xavier, the Spiritist medium, who was born here in 1910 and lived here for decades before moving to Uberaba.
A Pedro Leopoldo map poster shows a town shaped by hills rather than planning. Its streets curl and branch, clusters of houses sit apart from each other, and roads run south toward the capital and the airport region. In monochrome, that irregular pattern becomes an organic, almost hand-drawn image.
