Péhonko Map Poster & Print
Péhonko is a commune in Benin's Atakora department, in the north-west of the country. The land here is savanna, with open woodland, farmland and scattered villages. The town at the centre of the commune is small, and on the map it appears as a modest cluster of streets gathered around a main road.
Outside the centre, the pattern changes quickly. Tracks branch out to hamlets and fields, family compounds sit apart from one another, and seasonal streams leave faint lines across the land. The effect on paper is a small focal point of density surrounded by a wide, lightly marked landscape.
A Péhonko map poster is a quiet, spacious image. It shows no big city grid, only the shape of a northern Benin town and the countryside that sustains it. For people who come from Péhonko or have worked in the Atakora, it is a direct and personal map of a familiar place.

Rural tracks
Paths and dirt roads spread outward to villages and fields. In monochrome they make a fine, branching network across the open parts of the sheet.
Savanna setting
Wide farmland and savanna fill the surroundings. The open space around the town gives the print a calm, uncluttered balance.
