Plava River bends
The river loops through the town and gives it a natural spine. Streets on each bank are laid out along its curves and the shallow valley it has cut.

Plavsk Map Poster & Print
Plavsk is a small town in the southern part of Tula Oblast, south of Moscow. It takes its name from the Plava River, which runs through it in a series of bends. On the map, the town reads as a loose cluster of streets on both banks. Low-rise houses and garden plots give it a fine, grainy texture rather than dense blocks.
A railway line passes through the town, and its long straight course contrasts with the curving river. Roads leave in several directions across gently rolling farmland of the Central Russian Upland. Along the Plava, the ground dips into a shallow valley, and the streets bend to follow it.
The Plavsk map poster is an understated image: a river, a railway, a network of small streets and the fields that surround them. It suits people who value the plain geography of a place over grand landmarks, and who know exactly which bend of the river their street sits beside.

Railway line
A long, straight railway runs across the map. It is a strong line that contrasts with the soft shapes of the river and the older streets.
Garden-plot texture
Private houses with long gardens create a fine, repetitive pattern of small parcels. This pattern is typical of small towns in central Russia.

ለምን Plavsk
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
People who grew up in Plavsk or spent summers at a relative's dacha nearby often feel a strong attachment to its river and quiet streets. A map lets them keep that small geography on a wall far from Tula Oblast.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with a name in Russian transliteration or a family date. Five styles are available. Paper and Classic black & white suit the modest scale, and Noir brings out the river.
