Qiuji Map Poster & Print
Qiuji lies on the broad, flat plain of northern Jiangsu, a landscape shaped by rivers, canals and centuries of farming. On a map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets set within a patchwork of rectangular fields, with irrigation channels and roads drawing long straight lines outward in several directions.
Like many towns in this part of the province, it serves as a local centre for the surrounding villages, with shops, schools and services gathered along a few main streets. The built-up area is small enough that the countryside begins a short walk from the centre, and the transition from streets to fields is sharp on the map.
A Qiuji map poster is a quiet, geometric piece. With no hills and no coastline, the structure comes entirely from the lines people have laid on the land: streets, field boundaries and waterways. That makes it a personal map above all, most meaningful to those who know which of those lines leads home.

Field patchwork
Around the town, farmland divides into regular rectangular plots, a fine, even texture that surrounds the streets on every side of the map.
Water channels
Irrigation ditches and small canals cross the plain in straight lines, typical of northern Jiangsu, and appear on the print as fine threads among the fields.

ለምን Qiuji
ትርጉም ያለው ካርታ
Maps of small towns are usually bought for a single reason: someone was born there, grew up there or still has family in its streets. Qiuji is that kind of map, a way to keep a precise picture of home in a living room far away.
Add a name, a family surname or a year to the title and subtitle, keep the coordinates, and choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The HD files are $9, with a free watermarked preview first.
