Redan Map Poster & Print
Redan is an unincorporated community in DeKalb County, Georgia, east of Atlanta, between Lithonia and the Stone Mountain area. From above, it is mostly residential. Streets wind through wooded land in loops, crescents and cul-de-sacs, and main roads run straighter across the area to connect the subdivisions.
There is no old downtown grid here. The map reflects the way this part of metro Atlanta was built: neighbourhood by neighbourhood, following the rolling terrain. Tree cover fills the spaces between the houses, streams run through low ground, and small parks and school grounds make open patches in the fabric.
A Redan map poster turns an ordinary suburban plan into something surprisingly graphic. The curving streets and dead ends create a pattern that looks almost hand-drawn, especially in a single colour, and it will mean a great deal to people who know which loop is theirs.

Connecting roads
A few longer roads run through the community and link it to Lithonia, Stone Mountain and Atlanta. They are the straighter strokes among the curves.
Wooded creeks
Small streams follow the low ground between neighbourhoods and are often lined with trees. They add fine, winding lines to the map.
